San Gimignano is one of Tuscany's greatest treasures. It is a medieval hill town with encircling stone walls and 14 stone towers that form a unique skyline. Known as “Town of Fine Towers” it has been a recognized Unesco World Site since 1990.
Monteriggioni is the quintessential walled medieval fortress in Tuscany. The village is entirely surrounded by an elliptical stone walls of 570 metres, crowned by 11 towers. The walkways along the top of the town walls, offer breathtaking views over the glorious countryside on all sides.
Siena is a town extremely rich in history and art. The main square, Piazza del Campo is truly unique with its shell shape, its bricks pavement and for all of the buildings facing on it. The Duomo in Siena is one of the most outstanding examples of Romanesque-Gothic church in Italy, completely decorated with white and dark green marble.
