We do our best to put our Guests at ease, since the first moment of their holiday in Villa Cafaggiolo.
For that purpose, you will find in the apartments a "welcome book" which contains several useful information about Pontassieve, Firenze and Tuscany: maps, restaurants, supermarkets, banks, parking, museums, train timetable from Pontassieve to Florence, antique markets and events, useful phone numbers...

This to give you an orientation of the local area, introducing you to the Panetteria (baker), Macelleria (butcher), Fioraio (florist) and showing you the best place to buy your cheese and ice-cream, as well as shops to suit your particular interests such as ceramics, wine or leather-goods.

For those of you that are interested in visiting and exploring Florence and Tuscany, we’ll help you to organize daily excursion, hiking tours, guided tours, shopping tours...
If you need suggestions on how to find places "off the beaten track" or you look for interesting activities... just let us know.
